Rosedale Abbey is a small village in the North York Moors, quiet enough to feel remote but with a pub within a mile. Priory Cottage sits here as a Grade II listed property, built in the 1850s from salvaged stone and distinguished by its Gothic arched windows. Inside, the cottage keeps its period character while working as a modern holiday home: two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), two bathrooms, and downstairs space for cooking, dining and sitting. The lounge has a woodburning stove—fuel is included—and a TV; the kitchen is compact but has what you need to self-cater, including an air fryer and washer-dryer. Bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are all provided.
Both bedrooms are upstairs. The garden is shared with other properties on the caravan park and has seating and tables outside. There is on-road parking. The cottage suits couples or families wanting moorland walking from their door, or anyone drawn to a place with genuine age and character rather than new-build convenience. No smoking throughout.
