Mobile home park near Thirsk with fishing, immaculate grounds and helpful staff.
About Swaleside Park
Swaleside Park is a mobile home park on Long Street in Topcliffe, a village between Thirsk and the Vale of York. The grounds are well maintained and peaceful, and the team – notably Gretchen and Barry – are known for their attentive service and for making the purchase process straightforward for anyone buying a holiday home here.
The park has showers on site and fishing available. The village itself is compact: a post office and store are just across the way, The Angel Inn is a few minutes' walk, and the village hall hosts community events. This suits couples and families after a low-key base in rural North Yorkshire, close enough to Thirsk for supplies and services but set apart from busier tourist routes.

What visitors say
I have been at this site since October 2020 and it is what my late husband Dave and me called our ' happy place. I have kept our caravan on since my Dave passed away on the 5th August 2024 as it is still my happy place but with my Dave's memories. The grounds are outstanding and this is due to Barry and his colleagues who work tirelessly to maintain it to look so beautiful. Gretchen is not just the Manager she is my friend who helped me through a very tough time and will do anything to help you. The site has many owners and everyone is so friendly you become one big family. Thankyou 💖💖

I had a really positive experience with Gretchen throughout the process of buying my holiday home. She was incredibly helpful, approachable and made everything feel straight forward and stress-free. Any questions I had were answered clearly and she guided me through each step with patience and professionalism. The whole process was much easier than I expected and thanks to Gretchen and Barry this past Sunday I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend the park to others.
