About The Swan
The Swan occupies a well-established spot on Main Street in Thirsk, the kind of building whose character comes from years of welcoming travellers through North Yorkshire. It has the feel of a proper coaching-town hotel, with a bar and restaurant at its centre and rooms designed for comfort rather than fuss.
Bedrooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in the room, and options suited to families, with kids' meals offered alongside the main menu. Breakfast is served each morning, and reception operates around the clock, so arrivals at odd hours aren't a problem. Free WiFi runs throughout, and free on-site parking is a genuine convenience given the central location.
Beyond the front door, Thirsk offers further pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy reach, along with a nearby golf course for those wanting to fill an afternoon. It makes a practical base for exploring North Yorkshire, combining straightforward comfort with a setting right in the heart of town.
