The house sits near Appleton Wiske in North Yorkshire, surrounded by countryside with walking trails through woodlands and along the River Wiske. A pub is within a mile. The property sleeps six across three bedrooms: two doubles and one with twin singles. A single bathroom serves the house, with two separate toilets as well. Downstairs has two living areas (one with a TV and DVD player, the other quieter), a dining room, and a kitchen fitted with an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and standard appliances. Both living rooms have open fires; initial fuel is provided. The essentials—electricity, bed linen and towels—are included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. No smoking throughout.
