Northallerton sits within reach of the North York Moors, with walking trails, cycling routes and traditional Yorkshire villages dotting the landscape around it. Rose Acre Retreat – The Appleton is a standalone cabin designed for two people, positioned on the edge of this countryside, offering the quietness that comes with a private location and your own space.
The cabin is a single open-plan room with a double bed at one end, a kitchenette with electric cooking, and a living area with a TV at the other. A shower room is built in. What makes it different is the private hot tub on the patio outside – large enough for two – and underfloor heating throughout. Bed linen, towels, WiFi and electricity are all included. There is parking for one car on site.
This is adults-only accommodation. Smoking is not permitted. Check-in is from 15:00 and checkout before 10:00. The cabin suits couples looking for a quiet break within striking distance of the moors, or those wanting an overnight stop between destinations without the formality of a hotel room.

Beautiful, quiet, relaxing weekend away. The guest book has some fantastic suggestions for some local farm shops and cafés. The pods are small but well designed. If you're using the hot tub take some extra towels with you! The only reason I've not given this 5 stars is because the mattress should have been replaced about 5 years ago, it was exceptionally uncomfortable. Everything else was brilliant and I would return... if the bed was better

Absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location is lovely, the pods are so cosy and warm and just so well equipped for such a small place! The hot tub just make it better. A nice welcome from Natalie. We will definitely be back. Mandy and mick

Booked a weekend for my wife's birthday. Absolutely beautiful place, spotlessly clean, everything you need is there, the quality and finish from outside to inside couldn't be better and the service and welcome from Natalie was second to none. We stayed an extra night and left early for work on the Monday and it was perfect. We will without doubt be back.

Absolutely lovely site! View is lovely too! Hosts were friendly and very helpful, they even leave a guest book with recommendations for local pubs too! Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be coming back again!
