Coach House
North Yorkshire
Coach House is a first-floor apartment in a converted stone building, situated within the grounds of its owners' home near West Burton village. The property was refurbished in 2020 and retains period character while offering modern comfort. You reach it by external steps and have the whole place to yourself, with two bedrooms—one double, one with two singles—and a shower room. The open-plan living space combines sitting, dining and kitchen areas, with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave for everyday cooking.
Guests share access to two acres of landscaped gardens, a five-acre paddock and private fishing, all set around a pond and river frontage. The village of West Burton itself is a short walk away, with a shop and a pub serving food within 500 yards. Hawes and Leyburn market towns are roughly ten miles off; Bolton Castle, the Black Sheep Brewery and Wensleydale Creamery are within reasonable driving distance. Walking routes onto the open moors start from the village. One pet stays free. Wifi, bed linen and towels are provided; the grounds contain an unfenced river and a pond, so care is needed with young children.
