Cobweb Cottage sits on a narrow split-level passage in Whitby's old town, with the main entrance up six steps to reach the upper level. Inside, the ground floor opens into a combined living and dining space with a wood burner, freeview television and dvd player, flowing into a kitchen with electric cooker and washing machine. The first floor holds a king bedroom with its own television and a separate toilet. On the second floor, a twin bedroom and bathroom with shower over the bath complete the layout.
Bed linen, towels and wifi are included; logs for the burner are provided to start with. The cottage takes one pet. Smoking is not permitted. A car park space is available 300 yards away. Whitby's cobbled streets, lined with fishermen's cottages, antique shops and tea rooms, begin just outside. The harbour sits a short walk downhill, shadowed by the abbey ruins and St Mary's church. A pub and restaurant are within immediate reach, and the town hosts regular festivals throughout the year.
