County Retreat Apartment

County Retreat Apartment works well for couples after a break together or families wanting a base near the sea. The two bedrooms sleep four, with a master featuring a four-poster bed and a second bedroom also with a king-size bed. There is one bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. Wifi is included throughout, along with electricity, bed linen and towels; the essentials are covered.

The apartment occupies the first floor of a converted building with genuine history—the ground floor was once a pub dating to 1850. You enter via a secure communal entrance, then climb to the flat itself, where a combined kitchen-diner and lounge give onto the hallway and bedrooms. The kitchen is set up for self-catering. You're in central Whitby, within a mile of the coast and positioned to explore the town on foot, whether that's heading down to the harbour, the beaches or the surrounding countryside. The property is non-smoking.
