The open-plan living space has a TV and DVD player, and there's a king-size bed in the bedroom with an ensuite shower. A sofa bed provides the third sleeping space. Stillington is a working village in rural North Yorkshire, roughly halfway between York and Helmsley, with the market town of Easingwold three miles away. The pub is within a mile—practically on the doorstep. There's a sitting-out area at the front of the cottage with garden furniture where you can have morning coffee or eat outside. One dog stays free, kept on a lead. Private parking is on site, and there's a bike store if you're exploring by bicycle. The village has a post office, restaurants, a social club and an antiques showroom. No smoking inside.
