Delamere House- The Snug
North Yorkshire
Eden Camp, a World War II museum housed in a former prisoner of war camp, is a five-minute drive away. Castle Howard—the stately home famous for its events, tea rooms and seasonal experiences—lies a short drive further. The village of Scagglethorpe itself has a pub within walking distance and a children's play park, making this a practical base for exploring the wider North Yorkshire countryside.
Delamere House–The Snug is a ground-floor annexe with two bedrooms (a double and twin single beds) and one shower room, sleeping four. The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas around a wood-burning stove. There's an enclosed garden with patio and seating, plus off-road parking for one car. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included. One well-behaved pet stays free.
This works equally well for couples escaping for a weekend or families wanting space without stairs. The property is non-smoking throughout.
