Dotterel Cottage

Dotterel Cottage works well for families or groups wanting a proper Yorkshire coast break. Two bedrooms—one double, one twin—plus a sofa bed in the open-plan living space means six can stay comfortably. Everything is on the ground floor, with patio doors opening onto a rear garden where you can sit outside.

The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave and washing machine, so you can cook properly or do laundry during a longer stay. There's heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included, plus Wi-Fi. One small dog stays free. You get parking for three cars on site, and no smoking indoors.

The cottage sits near Reighton, between Bridlington and Filey. The beach at Reighton Sands is a short drive away. The RSPB reserve is also nearby if you're into birdwatching. Walking distance brings you to the seaside attractions, shops and cafés of Filey itself.
