Just back from an absolutely wonderful escape to Esmeralda the showman's wagon at Bramble Hill. The cutest, cosiest place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Absolutely immaculate, beautifully restored interior with all the essentials (and biscuits) waiting for us. Despite the dinky size we had a table to sit at, a sofa to relax on, plenty of storage and a separate sliding door/hatch bed chamber at the end for the best night's sleep ever. We'll definitely bring some food to cook on the outside stove next time too so we can sit out under the veranda for tea. Perfect plot at the top of the field with great views up the coast to Filey and Scarborough plus en suite donkeys! Hot tub was a real treat after walking down the coast to Bempton to see the birds and dolphins and lovely to cool down watching the evening light before heading out for tea. Lots to do in the area for families or old farts like us and it's trips and landscapes like this that make us wonder why we ever bother going abroad. 5G signal if you need it, but just being able to forget about everything in an absolutely timeless corner of simple comfort was such a tonic. Thanks so much to Rebecca and the team, we can't recommend the site enough.

This was the perfect glamping site, such friendly and down to earth service, fantastic value for money. Everything was done to perfection even the Maryland cookies 😍. The donkeys and the goats were super cute and the hot tub was a nice little treat.- also included in the price which is rare. I enjoyed my one night so much I was gutted to leave, perfect location for walkers wanting a comfy bed and a nice treat.

Stayed here with my partner for my birthday and all I can truly say is wow!! I’ve never been camping or Glamping before so was all new to me but safe to say this place really blew my expectations. Such a perfect getaway for if you’re looking for a cozy scenic holiday. The host was also fantastic! And responded fast to any help or questions.

This is our 4th time at Esmerelda. We love her. We have a dog and the enclosed area is perfect for her. The log burner makes it toasty warm as it was a little cooler over the bank holiday. The soaking tub is amazing. It can take a while to heat the first time but is super fast after that as the lid keeps the heat in. The bags of logs for sale are super useful. We got some lovely weather, although not super warm and it's so nice to do coastal walks from the site. It's 10 minutes to the beach. We always feel so happy and relaxed when we stay and will be back soon
