Eastside House

North Yorkshire

View on Google Maps

Whitby's cobbled streets, fish restaurants and sandy beach are within walking distance of Eastside House, a four-bedroom property on the North Yorkshire coast. The market town itself draws visitors for its 199 steps up to the Abbey, its Captain Cook heritage, and the cycle route that runs inland on a disused railway line all the way to Scarborough—accessible for riders of any age. Nearby villages like Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes make easy day trips, and the North Yorkshire Moors steam train departs from Goathland, ten miles away, heading to Pickering through countryside that doubled as Hogsmeade in the Harry Potter films.

The house sleeps six across four bedrooms: three kingsize and single beds upstairs, one single on the ground floor. Two bathrooms serve the property. The ground floor holds a living room with smart television and a dining space; a utility room houses a washing machine and freezer. Upstairs, one bedroom has an ensuite shower. The kitchen lets you prepare meals, and a patio with furniture and gas barbecue opens to the garden. Parking for four cars sits on site. Bed linen, towels, heating and WiFi are included. One well-behaved dog can stay free. The property is no-smoking throughout, and a cot and high chair are available if needed.
