This substantial stone cottage dates from its working life as a fisherman's home, and remains one of a small terraced row in Robin Hood's Bay. Four storeys tall with spiral stairs connecting the levels, it has been refurbished while keeping its character intact. The layout spreads across the building: a kitchen and dining space on the ground floor, a living room with garden access on the first, bedrooms on the second and third floors, and two bathrooms throughout. It sleeps six across four bedrooms—two doubles and two singles.
What makes the location striking is the immediate access to the Yorkshire coast. Cliff walks start from the doorstep, backed by the North York Moors National Park, and the beach lies just a short walk away. Robin Hood's Bay itself has a pub and restaurant within a couple of hundred yards. Whitby and Scarborough are within easy reach by car for days out. The cottage comes with its own patio garden, private parking for one car, and the essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen and wifi—are included. Guests should be aware of the steep spiral stairs that connect the floors.

Our favourite place to stay while in the Bay. Wonderful house, and great owners!

Would've been 5 stars but the smell of damp throughout the house, the mould and wood worm In the first bathroom. The living room door would not open to the outside. Unsuitable for a big family car as the turning for the drive is very tight which was not mentioned in the description prior to booking which was nonrefundable. Apart from all that robin hoods bay is a beautiful place to visit.
