Foss Gill

Foss Gill is a two-bedroom cottage in the hamlet of Starbotton, surrounded by walking country in the Yorkshire Dales. You get a double bedroom and a twin, one bathroom with shower over bath, and a living room built around an open fire. The kitchen comes with electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher, plus a utility room housing fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer—so you can cook properly and manage laundry during a longer stay.

Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; the initial fuel for the fire is provided too. There is private parking on site and an electric car charging point available (charged locally). A pub sits within a mile, and the market town of Grassington, with its independent shops and restaurants, is nine miles away. Skipton, with its castle, swimming pool and golf course, lies further down the valley. One dog can stay free.

The cottage is non-smoking. It suits families or groups wanting a proper base for exploring the dales rather than just passing through.
