Grassington's arts festivals and Skipton's castle and market are within easy reach, and the cottage sits in prime territory for exploring the Yorkshire Dales on foot or by bike. Kettlewell village with its pubs and tea rooms is two miles away. The local pub, serving food and ales, stands just 200 yards down the lane.
Wellside Cottage is a Grade II listed end-terrace property dating from 1663, refurbished but keeping its character. Downstairs there is a living and dining room with a multi-fuel burner, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and slow cooker all included. The bathroom has a bath with shower. Upstairs are three bedrooms: two with double beds (4ft 6in), one with a three-quarter double (4ft) and a single (3ft) bed, accommodating up to five. A single bathroom serves all three rooms. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all provided; initial logs for the burner come with the property, then on the honesty system.
A large south-facing enclosed garden with furniture and a BBQ looks onto soft fruit beds you can pick from in season. One car can park on site. One dog stays free. The cottage does not allow smoking. There are steps in the garden.

Absolutely stunning. Second day of our half term holiday. Quintessential cottage in gorgeous Starbotton Yorkshire Dales. Our lovely host William greeted us on arrival, goodie boxes awaiting us including red wine/doggy treats for Alfie. The cottage is so comfortable, log burner in the evening after our lovely walks in the 🌧️, so cosy and relaxing. Thankyou 👍
