Island In The Stream

Island In The Stream is a waterside property in North Yorkshire, positioned directly alongside Whitby's working harbour. The building captures views across the marina, where boats come and go throughout the day. A private patio with garden furniture gives you a front-row seat to this activity, or you can step inside to the ground-floor living space, which opens onto the water through French doors.

The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds the open-plan living and kitchen area, where you can cook full meals and watch television or films. Three bedrooms occupy the first floor: one double and two singles, served by a shower room. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi—are included. Two cars can park on site. The property is for holiday use only and operates a no-smoking policy.

Walking distance takes you to Whitby's old town, its harbour-side pubs and craft shops, and the cliff-top paths that lead inland toward the North York Moors. Sandy beaches lie close by, as does Whitby Abbey. The Steam Preservation line runs through the Moors nearby.
