Nun Monkton is a quiet village a few miles from York, with countryside walks along the River Nidd and the 12th-century St. Mary's Church nearby. Lane End Barn sits here as a converted listed building where original features—exposed beams and high ceilings—remain visible. The layout is inverted: bedrooms on the ground floor, living spaces upstairs.
Downstairs holds a king-size bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (bath with shower), plus a second bedroom with two single beds and a separate shower room. Upstairs is an open-plan living area with a wood burner, dining space, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer all there. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; initial logs for the burner come with the booking. One small dog stays free. There is private parking for two cars and an electric charging point (£20 per charge).
The village has a pub within a mile. The property is yours alone—no shared facilities—and smoking is not permitted inside.
