The Landings Cottage

The Landings Cottage is a converted barn in Beningbrough village, giving you walking access to Beningbrough Hall—a Baroque mansion with gardens and artwork from the National Portrait Gallery—and riverside paths through the surrounding countryside. York lies 7 miles south; the spa town of Harrogate, Fountains Abbey and the Yorkshire Dales are all within an easy drive. Two pubs operate in the neighbouring village of Newton-on-Ouse, 2 miles away.

The cottage has two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. The first floor holds a king-size bed with ensuite bath and shower; the second a double with ensuite shower. Downstairs, the living room has a wood-burning stove and French doors opening to an enclosed garden with patio, seating and a barbecue. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with a dishwasher and washing machine. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial logs for the stove. You have private parking for two cars and the whole place to yourself. One pet is welcome at no extra cost. No smoking is permitted inside.
