North Yorkshire

Richmond and the surrounding North Yorkshire countryside draw visitors for the market town's Georgian charm and proximity to the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors. Frankel Cottage sits within the grounds of Marske Hall Country Estate, a converted stable courtyard property that combines period character with modern design.
The cottage is arranged on a single ground floor, with an open-plan living and dining space centred around a smart TV and wi-fi, plus a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave included. Two bedrooms each have a king-size four-poster bed and an en-suite: one with a bath and walk-in shower, the other with a shower. Underfloor heating and parking for two cars on site are provided. Bed linen, towels and electricity are all covered in the rate. One well-behaved dog can stay for free; there is also a travel cot and highchair available if needed. Smoking is not permitted inside.
The estate's peaceful setting suits couples, friends or families wanting a countryside base without isolation—Richmond's shops, restaurants and pubs are within reach, and the Dales and moors are accessible for walking and exploring.
