The Groom's Cottage is a restored stone building set in the courtyard of Marske Hall Country Estate, a few miles from Richmond. It's a substantial two-storey property sleeping six across three bedrooms, each with a king-size four-poster bed. The ground floor holds the main living space, kitchen, one bedroom with ensuite bathroom and separate toilet; upstairs are two more bedrooms, each with its own ensuite—one with a bath, one with a walk-in shower.

The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking, with electric and induction hobs, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and coffee machine. Underfloor heating runs through the house. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included; there's also an electric car charging point and parking for two vehicles on site. One well-behaved pet stays free. The cottage does not allow smoking.

The setting suits families, groups and those after a rural base within reach of Richmond's shops and restaurants. The estate itself is the draw here—a proper country location rather than a village or town property.
