Mill Cottage

Mill Cottage is an 18th-century detached property on the edge of the North York Moors, with sightlines across to Rievaulx Abbey. The cottage has character features including beamed ceilings and a working fireplace; logs are provided. A single step leads to the entrance, and the ground floor holds the living and dining areas, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one with a king bed, one with two singles, and one single.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, and a washer-dryer. Essentials like bed linen, towels, heating and Wi-Fi are included. Outside, a south-facing lawn comes with garden furniture and space for two cars. The cottage sleeps five and welcomes one pet at no extra cost. A travel cot and highchair can be arranged. No smoking inside.

Rievaulx Abbey's tearoom and Helmsley's shops and restaurants are a short drive away. The Steam Preservation Railway at Pickering, York, Whitby, Scarborough and Filey are all within reasonable reach.
