Rosemount Lodge
North Yorkshire
Whitby's clifftop abbey, cobbled streets and working harbour are all within easy reach of Rosemount Lodge, which sits on a quiet cul-de-sac a short walk from the town centre. The North Yorkshire coast here offers plenty to do: Robin Hood's Bay, Staithes and Runswick Bay are each a short drive away, while the steam trains of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway run inland through dramatic moorland scenery. The Captain Cook Memorial Museum is in town, and the famous 199 steps lead up to expansive views across the bay.
The lodge spreads across two floors, entered via external steps above a double garage. Downstairs, the living and dining space has two leather sofas, a TV with electric fire, and a dining table with bench seating. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, with a breakfast bar for lighter meals. A separate toilet is also on this floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a double and a single—and a bathroom with a bath and shower set into a dormer window. Parking for two cars is on the driveway, and a decked garden with seating occupies the rear. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The property does not accommodate children under 10 years of age and is non-smoking throughout.
