Saltwater Suite

An 1850s townhouse on the Royal Crescent overlooks Whitby's coastline. Saltwater Suite occupies the first floor of this refurbished building, accessed by lift. The apartment is one bedroom and one bathroom, sleeping two, with the entire space to yourselves. A tall sash window opens onto a Juliet balcony where you can sit with sea views across the cliff top; inside, the open-plan living area combines a lounge, dining space and kitchen. The bedroom has a kingsize bed positioned to take in the outlook. Everything needed for a self-catering stay is included: wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels, plus a welcome pack. The kitchen is equipped for cooking, and a parking permit for one car comes with the booking.

West Cliff is a short walk from Whitby's harbour, independent shops, cafés and restaurants. A public footpath descends from the cliff edge to the beach below. The town hosts year-round events—Goth Weekend, Folk Week and others—with the Pavilion and Metropole putting on live music throughout the seasons. Whitby itself sits on the Yorkshire coast with cobbled streets, historic attractions and walks along the shoreline. Children under 12 are not accommodated. No smoking in the apartment.
