Sandhutton Retreats - Luthien Barn

Luthien Barn is a converted barn in the North Yorkshire village of Sandhutton, a few miles from Thirsk. It sleeps eight across four bedrooms, each with its own ensuite shower room, plus a family bathroom on the ground floor. The property is yours alone—no other guests, no shared spaces.

The ground floor centres on a large open-plan kitchen and living area with electric cooker, dishwasher, and everything needed for cooking. Bi-fold doors lead to an enclosed garden with furniture and a barbecue. Upstairs, there's another living room. Three bedrooms have king beds; one has a zip-and-link super king that converts to two singles on request. All rooms have smart TVs and heated towel rails. Underfloor heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. There's parking for four cars on site, and a bike store. One dog stays free.

The location suits groups and families wanting countryside quietness without being far from Thirsk's shops and restaurants. The enclosed garden works for younger children.
