Scalby Lodge - Lodge Cottage

Lodge Cottage is a ground-floor stone cottage within Scalby Lodge, a collection of fifteen properties on the North Yorkshire coast near Scarborough. Everything is on one level, from the living and dining areas through to both bedrooms, making it straightforward to navigate. The main bedroom has a king bed and ensuite; the second has two singles and shares a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle. A kitchen with electric cooking, dishwasher and washing machine opens to a sitting area with woodburner and television.

The cottage comes with its own enclosed garden, complete with seating and barbecue. Electricity, heating fuel, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included; one well-behaved pet stays free. On-site parking is provided, and there are shared facilities across the lodge grounds including a games room with pool table, a children's play area, and books and DVDs to borrow. The property does not permit smoking.

Scarborough itself lies within reach for seaside attractions, while the Cleveland Way long-distance footpath and North York Moors National Park offer serious walking country. The surrounding Heritage Coast is also close by for exploring on foot or by car.
