Sea Fever

Everything is provided at Sea Fever to make a self-catering break straightforward. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are included. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a gas range cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, so cooking anything from a quick meal to a full dinner is easy. A washing machine and tumble dryer are on hand, and heating comes from gas central heating throughout.

The cottage has three bedrooms sleeping five: a double and a single upstairs, plus a zip-and-link bedroom (convertible to a super king) on the first floor. The single bathroom has a bath with shower over. Downstairs, the living room centres on a wood burner, and the kitchen-dining room has French doors opening onto the garden. There is a separate toilet on the ground floor. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if needed.

The setting is beside a golf course on the North Yorkshire coast, within reach of Scarborough's beach and seafront attractions. The garden includes a summerhouse with seating, and there is a small unfenced pond where you may spot wildlife—children need supervision here. One small, well-behaved dog is welcome. Three cars can park on the private driveway. Smoking is not permitted inside.
