Spring Cottage

Carperby sits on the edge of Wensleydale, where the valley opens into countryside crossed by footpaths leading to Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle. Spring Cottage stands in this village setting, a base for walking or simply staying put. The Wheatsheaf Inn is within a mile, and the market towns of Leyburn and Hawes are a short drive away if you need restaurants, galleries or shops.

The cottage has two bedrooms—one with a zip-and-link super king that can split into single beds, one with a double—and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Downstairs, a living room with a woodburner and separate dining room give you space to spread out. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, dishwasher and the essentials. WiFi is included, along with bed linen and towels; initial logs for the burner are provided. There's a patio garden with furniture and a BBQ, bike storage, and parking on the road. No smoking inside.
