Stable Cottage

Stayed in the stables cottage over Autumn half term. An immaculate and cosy cottage in a great location. Perfect place to stay with good pubs, walks and many more attractions within close proximity. Would recommend 100% Kevin and Jane great hosts Thanks again

Booked for a week of school holidays to keep grandson occupied. Located a short drive out of village on a small holding . A converted bullockshed into a nicely laid out modern cottage. Lovely well equipped cottage which is clean and tidy . Two ensuite bedrooms which grandson claimed one with superking bed ! Enclosed paddock for dogs is fantastic , gives dogs a free run without straying. Sheep field adjacent . Greeted by owner who had complementary milk in fridge , cake and biscuits , tea , coffee , sugar at hand. Never got to use the log burner ( too hot) which was all set to go and logs and kindling all supplied . Good base for travelling around region . One place we would book again .

Just had a lovely week at this beautiful cottage. Well placed to reach places like Pickering and Thornton le Dale this rural place is delightful. Jayne is so welcoming and has really made this a lovely space. So much outdoor space for children and it’s a real delight to see the sheep and enjoy the grounds. It is quiet and well equipped. Have stayed in granary and stables over many years and highly recommend them both.

Absolutely superb cottage, very peaceful, spotlessly clean, extremely well appointed and very cosy and warm. It is ideally located to visit the North York Moors and Coast. We have visited dozens of cottages over the years and this is absolutely one of the best. Jane and Kevin are perfect hosts - to the extent of accommodating our request for allowing us to arrive a day earlier than originally booked with less than 24 hrs notice. We have no hesitation in recommending most highly and hope to be back soon.
