The Granary Cottages - Ash Cottage

Ash Cottage is a converted sandstone barn on the edge of Whitby, positioned between the town centre and coast on one side, and the North York Moors on the other. The ground floor is arranged as one open space—kitchen, dining and living areas flowing together with large windows and doors onto a garden that extends down to a pond, where you can sit out with a view across open fields. Three bedrooms occupy the first floor: a king-size with countryside views, a double, and a twin, along with a family bathroom that has both a bath and separate shower cubicle. The essentials are covered, including heating, electricity, bed linen and wifi.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Smart TVs are in the living area and two of the bedrooms. You get parking for two cars on site, and there is an unfenced pond in the garden. The cottage is non-smoking. Walking trails from the North York Moors pass nearby, and Whitby's shops, restaurants and beach are within easy reach by car.
