The Granary Cottages - Oak Cottage

Oak Cottage is a converted barn with everything needed for a self-catering break. The kitchen is properly equipped with an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, so you can cook as much or as little as you want. Downstairs, an open-plan living space combines a dining area and lounge where a Smart TV is available; large doors open onto the garden. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed, the other with two single beds—and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, along with a welcome pack.

The cottage sits on the edge of Whitby, part of a small cluster of barn conversions beside the owner's farmhouse. A two-minute drive reaches both the town centre and the beach. The North York Moors National Park surrounds the property; walking trails pass nearby, and the garden itself has countryside views. You have private parking for two cars and access to a shared front garden with seating. The garden includes a pond, which is unfenced. Smoking is not permitted inside.
