The Nest

Helmsley sits at the edge of the North York Moors, a market town with pubs, restaurants and independent shops within a few steps. The Nest occupies the ground and first floors of a converted property in this location, sleeping two in a double bedroom with a shower room alongside. Downstairs, the kitchen has a breakfast bar and the essentials for self-catering, while upstairs a living room with smart TV and comfortable seating overlooks the surrounding streets.

A small patio garden with furniture sits to the side, useful for morning coffee or evening drinks. The property includes WiFi, heating and electricity, bed linen and towels. One car can park on site, and a bike store is available—useful because the Moors offer numerous cycling routes and walks, including Rievaulx Abbey. The North York Moors National Park is accessible from the doorstep; Scarborough and Whitby lie roughly 50 minutes' drive away by car. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside.
