The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and there's a washer dryer on hand.

Helmsley itself offers plenty without needing to travel far. Award-winning restaurants, gastropubs and independent shops line the streets. Duncombe Park estate and its International Centre of Birds of Prey are moments away, as are the walled gardens and castle ruins. Summer brings an open-air pool. Beyond the town, the Cleveland Way walking route starts here, leading towards Rievaulx Abbey, while the North Yorkshire Moors and surrounding countryside offer cycling and rambling in all seasons.
