The Old Granary Cottage comes fully equipped for self-catering: the kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer, so you can cook proper meals and manage laundry without fuss. Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, as is wi-fi. A woodburner keeps the place warm in colder months, with initial logs provided. Everything is set up so you arrive and settle straight in.
The cottage occupies the grounds of a working farm and spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds a living and dining room with freeview television, DVD player and stereo, plus the kitchen. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one with a king-size bed and ensuite shower, one with a zip-and-link bed (which converts to singles on request), and one with two single beds. There is a family bathroom with a bath and shower. A cot and high chair are available if needed. Your own dog can stay free. Outside, a paved and gravel patio has garden furniture, and there is private parking for two cars.
The location suits walkers—the North York Moors National Park spreads beyond the farm, and trails start from the door. A pub sits about a mile away, with shops and a restaurant within three miles. Non-smokers only.
