Ellis Close Farm - Batty Barn

Batty Barn is a converted barn on a working farm in North Yorkshire, within reach of Scarborough's beaches and attractions. The property sleeps four across two bedrooms—a kingsize room with an ensuite bath, and a second with two single beds—plus a family bathroom on the ground floor. There's a full kitchen with a dishwasher and washer-dryer, a dining room, and a living area with a woodburner. One well-behaved dog is welcome to stay with you, though it must be kept on a lead while on the farmland.

The barn sits on 30 acres of shared grounds with access to countryside walking and cycling. Parking for two cars is provided on site, and heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. An enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and a barbecue offers an outdoor space. The property does not permit smoking.

Scarborough lies within easy reach for a day trip to the seaside, with North Bay offering Peasholm Park and the Sea Life Centre, while South Bay stretches along award-winning sandy beaches. For those who prefer quieter exploration, the North Yorkshire Moors and Heritage Coast are both accessible. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
