The Rise

The Rise is a two-bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a former Pentecostal church in Scarborough's Old Town, within a mile of the coast. You enter directly into a living and dining space with a sofa, armchairs and breakfast bar, where a smart TV faces out over Eastborough. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave and washing machine, so you can cook proper meals or do laundry. Two bedrooms—one with a double bed, the other with adult-sized bunks—and a bathroom with bath and shower serve the four of you. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are included. A parking permit for one car comes with the booking. The property is non-smoking.

Scarborough's seafront is a five-minute walk away, which puts you close to the harbour, town centre restaurants and the beach itself. The Sea Life Centre, Peasholm Park with its oriental gardens, the Open Air Theatre and various amusement arcades are all nearby. Flamingo Land theme park and zoo is a short drive out. The surrounding North York Moors offer walking and wider exploration of the Yorkshire coast. This layout suits families or groups wanting their own space on a self-catering break, with easy access to both the town and the quieter countryside beyond.
