Great hosts, genuine and friendly. Excellent location, 2 mins downhill for the seafront or 10 mins uphill for the town centre. Lovely room (attic) with everything we needed: hair dryer, fan, tea/coffee/fresh water etc, fluffy towels, excellent shower and so quiet. Bed was super comfy, linen was immaculate. Wi-fi strong and reliable. Communication was great right from booking to arrival.

My partner and I stayed in the hotel last weekend, we love this hotel. It is close to the seaside and about 10 mins walk to Scarborough Castle. The room is super clean and well looked after. We love the history about the building and how it is turned into a hotel now. Adam is a very friendly host and introduced us to some places to go for lunch and dinner. Unfortunately, it was super busy and there wasn't anything available. We still ate very well! The check-in was very informal, which we liked very much. I read that it will be cheaper to book a room directly by giving them a call or sending an email. I will highly recommend to do this to avoid a cut from the third party platform and support our local business.

Stayed for 1 night for a gig at the open air theatre We were met at the door by Adam and given the keys. The room was lovely. Small but had everything you could need Very clean Lots of coffees and milk etc Bathroom and shower very clean Location Brill as central to all the shops etc on South Bay Would recommend Would definitely

Great little hotel in a great location. No food served which we knew in advance. But still a great price based on location. Rooms were clean and bed was comfy. No negatives other than if you can't manage stairs you will need to request a ground floor room, there are also stairs to get to the entrance (quite steep) But a fabulous short break and the owner was very helpful and an all-round nice chap. I would recommend this place to anyone
