Thistle Cottage

Thistle Cottage is a three-storey townhouse in central Whitby, arranged to give everyone their own space. Ground floor has the living room—lit by a bay window—plus the kitchen and dining area where you can cook and eat together. A separate WC is tucked away downstairs. The bedrooms spread across the two upper floors: a king-size four-poster on the first floor, a twin room also on the first floor, and a further bedroom on the top floor under sloped ceilings with skylights. One family bathroom serves the house. Outside, a south-facing patio faces away from the street, and parking for two cars is available.

The cottage sits in Whitby's heart, close to the harbour, the town's independent shops and cafés, and the beaches that back onto dramatic cliffs. Whitby Abbey's ruins are within reach, as is the climb up the famous steps into the old town. A pub is less than a mile away. The North York Moors and wider coastline are accessible for day trips. Wifi and towels are included; electricity and bed linen are provided. No smoking inside.
