Turnip Cottage

Turnip Cottage is a barn conversion on a working farm in North Yorkshire, sleeping up to 6 across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Everything you need for a week away is here: wi-fi, heating, bed linen and towels are included, and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Parking for two cars is on site, and one dog is welcome (they must stay on a lead, as it is an active farm). The property is non-smoking.

Ground floor opens into a living space with a 40" smart TV and Netflix access, a dining area, and a kitchen built around a large island and farmhouse table. French doors from both rooms lead to a terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a kingsize sleigh bed, en-suite with roll-top bath and walk-in shower, and a separate smart TV. The other two bedrooms contain a kingsize and a ¾ double plus single, served by a shower room with heated towel rail. A utility room with washing machine and separate toilet complete the ground floor. The barn's original oak beams and flagged floors remain. A highchair and stairgates are available if needed, and there is a welcome pack on arrival.

The location sits between the A1 and A66, making it accessible for exploring the Dales or using as a base to stay quiet. The property draws water from a spring on the farm.
