Sykelands Cottages - The Granary

The Granary is a standalone converted barn on a seven-acre estate between Richmond and Barnard Castle. Everything needed for a self-catering stay is provided: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with a welcome pack. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and coffee machine. A washer dryer is also on hand.

The property sleeps two in one bedroom with a kingsize bed on the ground floor, alongside an ensuite bathroom with bath, shower and heated towel rail. Upstairs is an open-plan living and dining space with high vaulted ceilings and a large arched window, with electric blinds for privacy. Both floors have Smart TVs. Underfloor heating powered by biomass keeps the space warm whatever the weather.

Outside, an enclosed patio garden has furniture, a firepit, and a private hot tub for two. Private parking is available for two cars. The property is adults-only and does not permit smoking. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 11:00.
