Commondale is a small village in the North York Moors National Park, with moorland views and a pub within easy reach. The Cleveland Inn serves food and sits just yards away. The Esk Valley railway line, which connects Middlesbrough and Whitby, stops at Commondale station, a 15-minute walk from the property.
York Apartment occupies the ground floor of a converted schoolhouse and is arranged on a single level throughout. It has two double bedrooms, a shower room, and a living area with kitchen. The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals, with a breakfast bar for eating together. An electric fire heats the space. You get your own parking space on site and an enclosed garden with a bench, shared with other apartments in the converted building. The essentials—bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and Wi-Fi—are provided. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in a shared utility room. One dog is welcome, though it must be kept on a lead as the area is sheep country. No smoking inside.
