About Allerton Court Hotel
Allerton Court Hotel is a substantial 44-room property on Darlington Road, just outside Northallerton town centre, built with the kind of scale that allows for a genuine leisure offering rather than the usual hotel add-ons. Rooms are plain and understated rather than showy, but the hotel makes up for it with a laid-back atmosphere and facilities you would not always expect at this size, including an indoor swimming pool, gym, and spa and sauna.
Guests get free breakfast included, along with a cosy restaurant and a lounge bar for evening drinks, plus a snack bar for something lighter. Rooms come with air conditioning, drinks, and free WiFi, and the hotel is fully accessible via lift. Practical extras run to luggage storage, laundry service, porter and concierge support, and free on-site parking, plus an electric vehicle charge point for those driving down. The hotel also handles meetings and weddings, with function space and business services on hand.
Northallerton itself is close by, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby for evenings out beyond the hotel grounds. There's also a garden for some fresh air during the day. It suits guests after straightforward comfort and useful facilities rather than a boutique experience, with the pool and spa the clear draw for anyone staying a night or two.

I cannot comment on the hotel portion of the business, but I can comment on the restaurant of the hotel. Fantastic meal! I went for a Sunday lunch and all of the food quality was excellent. Meat was fresh, warm and delicious and all of the vegetables and sides were brilliant. Plates are large and staff encouraged us to go back up for more portions. Staff were friendly and approachable. I am going again soon and highly recommend going to the restaurant portion of the hotel.
