What guests say
Excellent location on the High Street. Rooms are spacious and comfortable (a fridge would have earned 5 stars) Small car park at rear of hotel but if full get a permit from reception to use the sister hotel's car park which is a very short walk away and is large. Excellent restaurant as part of the hotel and a welcoming bar. The real highlight of this hotel is the staff who were all exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

First time visitor to the takeaway, ordered portions of the large fish and chips for family friday chippy tea treat, £9.50 a portion, fair price these days. However lady serving not overly friendly, paid card as I rarely carry cash (wrong I know, only banks really profit), no eye contact and only interacted after other customers waiting commented on customer service skills. Fish was thin, standard size and batter greasy/oily, although fish white flakes, moist and tasted fine. Chips refried/blanched and tasted stale... family commented on the poor quality prior to my opinion. Cheap takeaway, but infortunately not for us.

Just went for the second time to the restaurant, delicious food, generous portions, amazing service from the man serving as well as the kitchen girls. Very friendly atmosphere. Thank you Katch! Now we are heading over to do some bowling in the sister company over the road
