About The Northallerton Inn

Northallerton's High Street is right on the doorstep of The Northallerton Inn, putting pubs, restaurants and local entertainment within easy walking distance, while a golf course nearby gives visitors with clubs in the boot something to do further afield. The surrounding countryside and good transport links make it a sensible base for exploring North Yorkshire, whether you're passing through or stopping for longer. The hotel has 30 rooms across two floors, all en-suite, with family and accessible rooms available and a lift for those who'd rather skip the stairs. Rooms are decorated to a comfortable, tasteful standard, and pets are welcome for those travelling with dogs. A restaurant and bar serve food and drink on site, with breakfast offering a good variety, and drinks can be brought to the room. Kids' meals are catered for, and there's outdoor seating for warmer days. Staff are friendly and helpful, though service at busier times has been known to slow down. Free on-site parking is a straightforward bonus, and reception operates around the clock, so arrival times are flexible. It's a solid choice for anyone wanting to be in the middle of Northallerton without giving up the convenience of a car.

Very enjoyable stay. It was a very hot week and the staff were so kind and helpful. Our dog Dave (A 14 year old Tibetan spaniel) was definitely struggling with the heat and they brought a frozen towel for him to lie on without being asked. The thoughtfulness of that I will NEVER forget! The food and friendliness was excellent and we will definitely return. Well done Northallerton Inn and a huge thank you. 👏👏

Nice room…tiny tv. Breakfast finished at 10am ..10.30 would be nice Booking out is a rigid 10.30 which is a joke…had to pay an extra £25 to extend to 12.30. Expected a better breakfast ..nice staff ..but cheap sausages & worth £5 …expected more having paid £493 for 3 nights… Nice coffee, poor selection of real ale, only one which was white & tasted a bit like white vinegar…

Stayed there for 2 nights 2 & 3rd of Jone 2026, the location was great providing convenient access a lot of golf courses locally and access to Northallerton's many amenities. The hotel rooms were well appointed as were the public area's of the hotel. The breakfasts were excellent served quickly, hot and were high quality with good variety available. Several members of our group ate there on an evening and said enjoyed the food, quality, value and service provided. The free onside parking was also appreciated, though access to the spaces was on the tight side, the spaces were of generous size, the carpark was busy at times but I was always able to find a space. In summary an excellent stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there on future visits to Northallerton.

Here’s a polished review you could post: I don’t normally leave reviews, but I felt I had to on this occasion. The Northallerton Inn was fantastic from start to finish. The hotel is in a perfect location right in the middle of town, making everything easily accessible. The room was ideal – clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. Breakfast was absolutely on point with a great selection and excellent quality. A special mention has to go to Sarah, who was genuinely one of the most helpful people I’ve ever come across. Nothing was too much trouble, and she really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Great hotel, great staff and a great experience overall. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Northallerton. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
