About Glororum Holiday Park
Tucked into the Northumberland countryside just a couple of miles from Bamburgh's iconic castle and sweeping sandy beaches, Glororum is a quiet, well-kept base for exploring this beautiful corner of England. The site welcomes dogs and offers electric hook-ups, decent shower blocks and WiFi—everything you need without unnecessary frills. Reviewers praise the peaceful atmosphere and helpful, friendly owners who keep the facilities spotless and are happy to share local tips.
It's an ideal spot for families wanting easy access to coastal walks, rock-pooling and the Farne Islands, though some note that pitches can feel a little close together during busy periods. Still, the location more than compensates: you're perfectly placed for day trips to Holy Island, Alnwick Castle and the wild Northumberland National Park.

What visitors say
We have just returned from our 3 nights staying at Glororum Holiday Park at Bamburgh. What a clean very well-looked-after site which has lovely, friendly staff. The shower and toilet blocks are spotless and warm. The big level Pitchers, all have a drinking water tap and electricity. It was just perfect. It is about a mile and a half to Bamburgh Castle, you can walk it from the site, but there is only a grass verge, and the road is narrow and has the odd vehicle passing by. We easily drove our motorhome down to the castle and parked up for the day. We will 100% be going back to visit the site and will recommend it to our friends

Beautiful caravan park, we could only stay one night unfortunately on a tight schedule, we wish we could have stayed here longer instead of rushing on to the next park we stayed in. But this park is lovely & tidy, nice clean, level hardstand sites, plenty of lawn & shade, nice tidy ablutions are spotless & spacious, with a haidrier & liquid soap provided at the basins, staff are very friendly & helpful, professional & efficient. We highly recommend & would stay again.

Lovely, quiet touring site attached to a residential site. Very quiet, beside fields with screening trees to the residential Caravans. The toilet/shower facilities were cleaned well every day and the site is well maintained. There's a toilet disposal point (green fluid only) and a great dishwashing room with endless, really hot, water. The warden, Jackie, is fantastic and a great source of local information. We'll definitely be back at this site. About 2km walk into Bamburgh village, where there are restaurants and pubs......though eating out looked pricey. We had a nice pint or two in the Castle Inn beer garden and they seemed to do reasonable pub food. No local shops though and the one on site is closed now, so you'll need to head to Seahouses for any supplies. The beach is fantastic and you can walk for miles.....get away from the immediate vicinity of the castle and it's beautiful and quiet. Lots of great walking around. Walking to Seahouses along the beach is lovely, about 2 hours and you're rewarded with some great fish and chips at the end.
