Budle Cottage
Northumberland
Photo: Google Maps
Budle Cottage sits on the Northumberland coast within a mile of Bamburgh Beach, close enough to reach on foot through fields that lead to Budle Bay. The surrounding landscape is quietly dramatic: headland walks, a working nature reserve for birdwatchers, and views across to Bamburgh Castle from the sand. Embleton Bay lies nearby too, offering rockpools and dunes as an alternative to the main beach.
The cottage has two bedrooms—a double and twin—sleeping four in total, with a bathroom upstairs and a ground-floor toilet for convenience. The living room has a woodburner; the kitchen/dining space is equipped for cooking and eating together, with a dishwasher and washer-dryer included. WiFi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are covered. One dog is welcome at no extra charge, and there's a bike store if you're planning to explore the coast by cycle.
The village sits within reach of several food and drink options, and the coastal path network makes this a natural base for walking. Parking is available for one car on the drive, with further spaces on the road.
