Cuddys House
Northumberland
Open the door at Cuddys House and you step straight into a properly thought-through layout. The living area anchors the ground floor—comfortable seating around a woodburning stove, a modern kitchen and dining space set up for actual cooking and eating together. Upstairs and down, three bedrooms provide sleeping space for five. The bathroom on the first floor has a heated towel rail and proper lighting at the mirror; a second bathroom on the ground floor adds practical convenience. A utility room with washing machine makes longer stays manageable, and a private patio with outdoor furniture gives you somewhere to sit outside. One dog is welcome here.
Cuddys House sits in Bellingham village, which puts you within reach of independent shops and at least one pub within a mile. Hareshaw Linn waterfall is nearby for a walk. The landscape beyond—Kielder Water and Forest Park to the north, the Cheviot Hills, Hadrian's Wall—draws visitors for cycling, stargazing, and serious walking country. Hexham is a 20-minute drive if you want markets and restaurants. The essentials are covered: electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Parking is on-site. No smoking indoors.
