Duke House

Bamburgh Castle dominates the coast a short distance away, and the village itself sits on a stretch of Northumberland shoreline worth exploring on foot. A pub lies within a mile's walk. Duke House is set up for groups of eight wanting space and comfort: four bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room, spread across two floors, and enough bathrooms that nobody queues in the morning.

The ground floor centres on an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area built around a marble island with induction hob and two dishwashers. A wood burner, Smart TV and large bi-fold doors opening to the garden are there for when you want to settle in. One superking bedroom sits on this floor with direct access outside. Upstairs, three further bedrooms—one king, two superkings—each have their own shower room and storage. A utility room with washing machine handles laundry. The enclosed garden has a private hot tub, outdoor furniture and countryside views; there's also access to shared facilities including a gym, tennis courts and a children's play area. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One dog is welcome. Smoking is not.
