Hadrian’s Wall Country Cottages - Curlew Cottage

Curlew Cottage is a single-storey bungalow built to modern standards, set within a small cluster of holiday homes in rural Northumberland. The whole property is yours alone: two bedrooms (one double, one with twin singles), a shower room, and a combined living and dining space with a fully equipped kitchen. Ground-floor living means no stairs, and a car park on site means no hunting for a space.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge-freezer, so you can cook as much or as little as you like. Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. There is an enclosed front garden with seating and a barbecue, shared with the other cottages on site. Wi-Fi is available throughout. No smoking indoors.

Hadrian's Wall lies just a short drive away, and Northumberland National Park is equally close—both offer walking routes through open country with views across the borderlands. Nearby villages have shops and pubs. The cottage suits couples, families with young children, or anyone who prefers not to manage stairs.
