Horsley Cottage comes ready for your arrival with the essentials covered. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included, along with initial logs for the wood burner. The kitchen is fully fitted with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, so you can cook properly rather than make do. Bed linen and towels await you, and there's a travel cot and highchair if you need them.
The cottage itself is a detached property sleeping five, with two king bedrooms and a third single bed, one bathroom with bath and shower, and a living room centred on the wood burner. Everything is on the ground floor, accessed via a ramp at the entrance. You have private parking for two cars on site, and a courtyard with seating and garden furniture. The property stands on Lord Redesdale's Estate within Northumberland National Park, surrounded by woodland grounds with a half-mile walk through the trees to The Redesdale Arms pub. There is an unfenced pond in the grounds roughly half a mile away, and the water supply comes from a spring.
Otterburn village is three and a half miles away with a store and pub. The area works as a base for exploring Hadrian's Wall, Kielder Forest Water Park, Alnwick Castle and the Northumberland coast. No smoking inside the property. One pet stays free.
